Brayden Robinson‍ was excited to add an offer from Notre Dame during the Irish’s Pot of Gold push last month.

“It means a lot knowing that it's one of the top programs in the country,” the 2026 Texas receiver told Irish Sports Daily.

“It's a great opportunity to have to be able to go play for them one day.”

Leading up to the offer, the 5-foot-8, 160-pounder had been in contact with Notre Dame receivers coach Mike Brown and recruiting assistant Carter Auman.

“Just how much they like my playing style, my explosiveness,” Robinson said of the message from the Irish. “They need speed on the team and I guess that's why they hit me up.

“Just how much they want me to come play for Notre Dame and just see how I can fit in their schemes.”

The Red Oak High School standout also has dozens of offers from schools like Texas, Texas A&M, Arkansas, LSU, Auburn, Michigan, Penn State, Nebraska, Colorado and Oregon among others.

He’s already visited Arkansas this spring, but hasn’t been anywhere else, although he hopes to get to South Bend.

“I want to try to get on campus whenever that can happen, but as of right now, just taking everything slow,” he said.

“I just want to see how the environment is, not just with football, but the school in general, get a feel for the coaches in person, see how they are, they coach their guys up, how they interact with the players who are already on the roster.”

His ultimate decision will be a family one.

“Finding a place where my family feels happy, where my family feels I'm safe,” he said of the key factors.

“Getting a great education obviously, and just being somewhere where I can develop to be the best receiver I can be.”
