Some quick depth chart notes:
Tommy Rees was able to pull ahead of Nate Montana to win the backup quarterback job. TJ Jones edged in front of Duval Kamara at one starting receiver spot. Braxston Cave, Taylor Dever and Chris Stewart all hung on to their spots on the offensive line.
Prince Shembo and Danny Spond crack the two-deep at linebacker, backing up Darius Fleming and Manti Te’o respectively. Anthony McDonald, who was upgraded to questionable, is listed as Carlo Calabrese’s backup.
Nick Tausch won the place-kicking job while David Ruffer will handle kickoffs. Interesting that Bill Flavin beat out Cave as the short-snapper and that long-snapper Ryan Kavanagh will back up Turk as the holder.
