Unfortunately, our good friend Bryan Driskell has left IrishSportsDaily.com to take a college coaching job. This is very sad news for all of the crew at ISD. Driskell added so much to ISD, and it's going to be very hard to replace him. Most of all, we'll miss just having him around as he's been a true joy to work with these past two years. Bryan really wanted to get back into coaching, and being around the ND program the past two years really made that clear to him. We will miss him greatly and wish him all the success in the world. He'll continue to contribute to ISD, but on a much smaller scale moving forward.

However, that leaves us with a spot to fill. I'm asking ND fans if they might know someone who would fit well in his role. Ideally, I need someone with college coaching experience, or a former college player with an extensive knowledge of both offense and defense.

I need someone who can breakdown film and explain to our audience the nuances of ND's offense and defense, and the ability to breakdown highlight film of ND's top prospects and discuss their strengths, weaknesses, and how they might fit into the Irish program. Someone who can get on camera with the white board and break down the Xs and Os for all of us.

The position could be full time, with the person required to relocate to the South Bend area, or it could be a part-time position for the right person who has the right amount of time to dedicate to the job. The ability to write well would certainly be an added bonus, but we can help the right individual with that.

If you're reading this and interested, or you know of someone who would fit the qualifications and might be interested, please contact me with your credentials for a possible interview.
