Notre Dame coach Kevin Corrigan helped lead the program to an 8-5 upset victory over Princeton in the first round of the NCAA Championships.

Junior midfielder David Earl provided the offense, while senior goalie Scott Rodgers provided the defense en route to Notre Dame’s 8-5 upset over six-seeded Princeton in the first round of the NCAA Championship Sunday afternoon at the Class of 1952 Stadium in Princeton, N.J.

Earl posted a career-high five goals, while Rodgers made 14 saves, helping the Irish
