Irish recruiting coordinator Chuck Martin has been in Georgia this week and on Tuesday, he saw defensive end/linebacker prospect Jordan Jenkins at Harris County High School in Hamilton, Ga.
“He came and watched my spring practice,” the 6-foot-3, 240-pound Jenkins said. “He came to the whole practice. He was talking to my head coach and the line coaches.”
Jenkins’ father, Ronald, thought it was important to see Martin at the school so soon.
“It’s real big in Jordan’s eyes as well,” Ronald Jenkins said. “They’re the first coaches to come down and see him since spring football started. Them being the first ones there, that left an impression.”
