Football Recruiting Blue-Gold Recruiting Updates
Tons of recruiting updates have come in already from Saturday's Blue-Gold Game. The biggest news came early with the commitment of Massachusetts offensive lineman John Montelus, but Irish Sports Daily has touched base with several prospects who were on campus on Saturday.
The Class of 2010 was able to sign national letters of intent beginning Feb. 3, 2010. But that's not the only important date on the college football recruiting calendar:
Aug. 1 - Nov. 28: Evaluation period
Sept. 1: Juniors can receive written offers
Nov. 29 - Jan. 30: Contact period
Dec. 16 - Jan. 15: Junior college transfer
Feb. 3 - April 1: Signing period
April 15 - May 31: Evaluation period
