With the 2012 high school football season entering the homestretch, ISD will be keeping you up to date with who the Notre Dame's commitments will be playing on a weekly basis and also giving you the final results of those games on Mondays.

2013 Commits

Malik Zaire QB Archbishop Alter:

Archbishop Alter (8-1-1) closed out the regular season with a win by defeating Chaminade-Julienne (6-4), 17-15.

Zaire finished the game with 196 passing yards with one touchdown and also had 96 rushing yards.

Jamel James RB Cinco Ranch:

Cinco Ranch (6-2) picked up their third win in-a-row beating the Seven Lakes Spartans (4-4), 27-7.

James finished the game with 92 yards rushing with a touchdown.

Will Fuller WR Roman Catholic:

Roman Catholic (5-3) wrapped up the regular season defeating Father Judge (2-6), 28-17.

Fuller had two catches for 40 yards and one touchdown. He also had a 97-yard kickoff return for a touchdown.

I couldn't find an article on this game.

James Onwualu WR Cretin-Derham:

The Raiders (6-3) season came to a unexpected end with a shocking loss to Woodbury Royals (4-5), 21-14.

Cretin-Derham destroyed the Royals two weeks ago, 48-20, but it wasn't meant to be on this night.

Onuwalu had a one-yard touchdown run.

Corey Robinson WR San Antonio Christian:

The San Antonio Christian Lions (5-3) picked up their fourth straight win friday shutting-out San Marcos Academy (4-4), 48-0.

Robinson had two catches for 96 yards with one touchdown.

Torii Hunter, Jr. WR Prosper:

Hunter Jr. and the Eagles (7-1) won a close battle with Little Elm (3-5) on Friday night, 31-27.

Hunter had one catch for 71 yards and it was for a touchdown.

Mike Heuerman TE Barron Collier:

Barron Collier (5-3) had a bye week.

Hunter Bivin OL Apollo:

Apollo (2-8) was beaten by the Franklin-Simpson Wildcats (3-7) Friday night, 18-7.

I couldn't find an article on this game.

Steven Elmer OL Midland:

The Chemics (10-0) opened up the playoffs with a dominating victory over Marquette (5-4), 42-7.

Penn Charter (3-4) was defeated by Haverford School (6-3) Friday night, 27-6.

Colin McGovern OL Lincoln-Way West:

Lincoln-Way West (7-3) opened the 2012 Illinois playoffs tonight with a shut-out victory over Rochelle (6-4), 35-0.

The Everett Crimson Tide (7-1) shut-out Medford (0-7) Friday night, 35-0.

Jacob Matuska DE Bishop Hartley:

Bishop Hartley (10-0) remained undefeated Friday night crushing Bishop Ready (7-2), 42-8.

Matuska wasn't sure what his final stats were for the game, but he was pretty sure he had close to 10 tackles on defense.

Isaac Rochell DE Eagle’s Landing Christian:

Eagle’s Landing Christian (7-1) buried Strong Rock Christian (3-5) Friday night, 69-6.

Alex Anzalone LB Wyomissing:

Wyomissing (9-0) remained undefeated winning a close contest with the Schuykill Valley Panthers (6-3), 37-33.

Anzalone said he had 96 yards rushing with three touchdowns. On defense the linebacker had 10 tackles.

Michael Deeb LB American Heritage:

American Heritage (7-1) picked up their sixth win in-of-row tonight destroying undefeated Cardinal Gibbons (7-1), 70-19.

Deeb said he wouldn't get his final stats until later this week and wasn't sure exactly how many tackles he had overall, but he said he got two sacks playing defensive end.

Danny Mattingly LB Mead Senior:

Mead (8-2) closed out the regular season Thursday with a win against the Ferris Saxons (6-3) , 34-19.

Jaylon Smith LB Bishop Luers:

The Knights (7-4) won their second playoff game against the Eastside Blazers (6-5), 42-7.

Smith scored a touchdown in the first half.

Doug Randolph and Greer Martini (2014) LB’s Woodberry Forest:

Woodberry Forest (6-2) picked up a victory in a close game with St. Christopher's (5-5), 13-6.

Randolph has been dominating since returning from his leg injury and told me he had a few tackles to go along with two more sacks.

Devin Butler CB Gonzaga:

Gonzaga (7-2) picked up a huge win over highly-ranked powerhouse DeMatha (7-2), 27-10.

Butler said he had two touchdowns that accounted for 66 yards on offense and three tackles on defense.

Rashad Kinlaw CB Absegami:

Absegami (5-2) defeated Hammonton (5-3) Friday night, 47-33.

Kinlaw, who has been out all season with a leg injury he received with the U.S. National team, was back in action and made his presence felt.

Kinlaw finished the night with five carries for 39 yards and two touchdowns.
