Alex Anzalone has made his decision and this time, he says it’s definitely final.

He’s sticking with Notre Dame.

Anzalone just announced the news on Twitter.

"First off, I want to thank the coaches who have been supportive of me throughout my recruitment," he said. "There have been many highs and lows but when it came down to it I had to find the best fit for me. I have developed close relationships with many GREAT coaches, but at the end of the day I had to chose one school. I have been committed to ND since July.

"With that, I want to reaffirm my commitment to Notre Dame and shut down my recruitment completely with all other schools. God bless!"

The 6-foot-3, 220-pound linebacker from Wyomissing, Pa., initially committed to Ohio State in the spring, but decommitted weeks later. He followed that up with a pledge to the Irish in July, but took a visit to Florida last month and appeared to be extremely close to flipping to the Gators at different times during the last few weeks.

Anzalone returned to Notre Dame for a visit on Sunday and he phoned the Irish staff on his way home from South Bend today to firm up his commitment. He informed the Florida coaches of his decision as well.

Anzalone will enroll at Notre Dame in January.
