With the 2012 high school football season entering the homestretch, ISD will be keeping you up to date with who the Notre Dame's commitments will be playing on a weekly basis and also giving you the final results of those games on Mondays.

2013 Commits

Jamel James RB Cinco Ranch:

Cinco Ranch (7-3) closed out the regular season with a victory over Strake Jesuit (2-8), 24-12.

James had a big 80-yard rush early in the 2nd quarter, but didn't see much action in the second half for some reason.

Corey Robinson WR San Antonio Christian:

The San Antonio Christian Lions (7-3) closed out the regular season with the utter demolishing of Savio (0-10), 68-6.

Robinson had three catches for 70 yards and one touchdown.

Torii Hunter, Jr. WR Prosper:

Hunter Jr. and the Eagles (8-2) fell to the Frisco Racoons (7-3) on Friday, 21-7.

Hunter, Jr. had five catches for 103 yards and one carry for four yards.

Mike Heuerman TE Barron Collier:

Barron Collier (7-3) pummeled the Gulf Coast Sharks (2-9) Friday night, 42-14, to close out the regular season.

Heuerman had a couple of really big catches in the game including a 34-yard reception and a 48-yard touchdown.

Steven Elmer OL Midland:

The Chemics (11-1) season came to a end this past weekend with a tough loss to powerhouse Muskegon (11-1), 49-21.

Mike McGlinchey OL Penn Charter:

Penn Charter (5-4) defeated Germantown Academy (3-6) on Saturday, 35-7.

McGlinchey and his offensive line teammates helped open some huge holes for Quaker running back Eric Neefe who rushed for 231 yards and two touchdowns.

Colin McGovern OL Lincoln-Way West:

Lincoln-Way West (8-4) season came to a abrupt end this past Saturday against Joliet Catholic Academy (9-4), 21-20.

Joliet Catholic knocked the Warriors out of the playoffs for the second season in-a-row.

John Montelus OL Everett:

The Everett Crimson Tide (9-1) closed out the regular season burying Malden (2-8) on Friday, 54-20.

I couldn't find an article on this game.

Jacob Matuska DE Bishop Hartley:

Bishop Hartley (12-0) walked through previously undefeated North Union (11-1), 43-0.

Matuska had a big reception for 47 yards on a fake punt and had a interception on defense.

Isaac Rochell DE Eagle’s Landing Christian:

Eagle’s Landing Christian (9-1) shutout Landmark Christian (7-3) Friday, 43-0, to wrap up the regular season.

Rochell said he had eight tackles on defense and added a touchdown from his tight-end position on offense.

Alex Anzalone LB Wyomissing:

Wyomissing (11-0) opened the playoffs pounding Littlestown (7-4) on Saturday, 45-13.

Anzalone had a huge night rushing for 106 yards on only seven carries with a touchdown, He also had eight tackles on defense.

He had all this in only one half of football.

Michael Deeb LB American Heritage:

American Heritage (9-1) closed out the regular season Friday night with a decisive victory over Golden Gate (3-7), 37-8.

Danny Mattingly LB Mead Senior:

Mead (10-2) took their next step in the playoffs on Saturday with a big win over Newport Grizzlies (3-8), 41-14.

Mattingly hauled in a 23-yard touchdown pass from his tight-end position.

Jaylon Smith LB Bishop Luers:

The Knights (9-4) will be heading to the Semi-State after their close victory over Tipton (11-2), 22-12.

Smith had a huge game offensively rushing 19 times for 104 yards and three touchdowns. He also hada 92-yard run called back on penalties.

Doug Randolph and Greer Martini (2014) LB’s Woodberry Forest:

Woodberry Forest (7-3) closed the regular season Saturday afternoon crushing Episcopal (3-7), 44-14.

Randolph wasn't sure what his final stats were, but he thought he had at least two sacks and a few tackles-for-losses.

I couldn't find an article on this game.

Devin Butler CB Gonzaga:

Gonzaga (8-3) season has ended with a first-round to DeMatha (9-2) on Saturday afternoon, 40-27.

Two weekends ago, Gonzaga shocked the powerhouse by handing them a 27-10 loss, but it wasn't to happen this time.

Hamilton (9-3) will advance in the playoffs after this weekend's victory over the Desert Vista Thunder (9-3), 28-14.

Malik Zaire QB Archbishop Alter:

Archbishop Alter (8-2-1) season came to an abrupt end in the first round of the playoffs as they were defeated by the Shawnee Braves (8-3), 42-34.

Will Fuller WR Roman Catholic:

Roman Catholic (5-4) wrapped up their season with a playoff loss to La Salle College (9-1), 42-13.

James Onwualu WR Cretin-Derham:

The Raiders finished the season (6-3) and lost in the first round of the playoffs to the Woodbury Royals (4-5), 21-14.

Hunter Bivin OL Apollo:

Apollo (2-9) season came to an end against Bowling Green (11-0), 62-6.

Justin Brent WR Speedway:

Speedway's (7-4) season came to an end losing to undefeated Cardinal Ritter (11-0), 49-21.
