With the 2012 high school football season coming to a conclusion, ISD will be keeping you up to date with who the Notre Dame's commitments will be playing on a weekly basis and also giving you the final results of those games on Mondays.

2013 Commits

Jamel James RB Cinco Ranch:

Cinco Ranch (8-3) opened up the playoffs by blowing out the Bellaire Cardinals (5-6) on Saturday, 69-13.

This looked on paper like this would be a pretty even game, but instead Cinco Ranch came out with guns blazing and scored on their first six possessions to end the game quickly. James had one rushing touchdown in this game.

Corey Robinson WR San Antonio Christian:

The San Antonio Christian Lions (8-3) opened up the playoffs on Saturday in a shootout against Westbury Christian (7-4), 49-36.

Robinson continue to put big-time numbers with six catches for 124 yards and a touchdown.

I couldn't find an article on this game.

Torii Hunter, Jr. WR Prosper:

Hunter Jr. and the Eagles (9-2) defeated the Forney Jackrabbits (5-6) on Thursday evening by the score, 26-14.

Hunter, Jr. had eight catches for 100 yards and one carry for five yards.

Mike Heuerman TE Barron Collier:

Barron Collier (7-4) lost in the opening round of the playoffs Friday night to South Fort Myers (11-1), 27-0.

John Montelus OL Everett:

The Everett Crimson Tide (9-1) has a bye week this week.

Jacob Matuska DE Bishop Hartley:

Bishop Hartley (13-0) had their toughest game of the season against Ottawa-Glandorf (12-1) one in a shootout, 41-31.

Matuska had a few tackles on the night and spent much of his time on offense blocking from the tight end position, which contributed to Hartley's five rushing touchdowns on the night.

Isaac Rochell DE Eagle’s Landing Christian:

Eagle’s Landing Christian (9-1) has a bye this week.

Alex Anzalone LB Wyomissing:

Wyomissing (12-0) continued their playoff run on Friday night when they pounded Schuylkill Valley (8-4) for the second time this season, 42-14.

Anzalone had a huge night both on offense and defense.

On offense, the Irish commit had 20 carries for 132 yards and three touchdowns.

On defense, the talented linebacker had a big interception at the goal to deny a touchdown and then in the fourth quarter, with Schuylkill Valley down to the 1-yard line, Anzalone delivered a devastating hit which caused a fumble.

Michael Deeb LB American Heritage:

American Heritage (9-2) lost in the first round of playoff action against Jackson (6-4) on Friday, 39-23.

Danny Mattingly LB Mead Senior:

Mead’s (10-2) season has come to an end losing in the playoffs against Auburn (10-2) on Friday, 21-7.

Jaylon Smith LB Bishop Luers:

The Knights (10-4) are heading back to the state finals after defeating the Andrean Fighting 59ers (12-2), 35-21.

Smith had a huge night on both sides of the ball.

On offense, he had 11 carries for 142 yards with a touchdown and on defense he had six tackles, three assists and a sack.

Cole Luke CB Hamilton:

Hamilton (11-2) continues to roll in the playoffs defeating Desert Ridge (11-2) on Friday, 21-7.

Rashad Kinlaw CB Absegami:

Absegami (5-4) lost in the first round of the playoffs on Friday night against Atlantic City (7-2), 34-30.

Malik Zaire QB Archbishop Alter:

Archbishop Alter (8-2-1) season came to an abrupt end in the first round of the playoffs as they were defeated by the Shawnee Braves (8-3), 42-34.

Will Fuller WR Roman Catholic:

Roman Catholic (5-4) wrapped up their season with a playoff loss to La Salle College (9-1), 42-13.

James Onwualu WR Cretin-Derham:

The Raiders finished the season (6-3) and lost in the first round of the playoffs to the Woodbury Royals (4-5), 21-14.

Hunter Bivin OL Apollo:

Apollo (2-9) season came to an end against Bowling Green (11-0), 62-6.

Steven Elmer OL Midland:

The Chemics (11-1) season came to a end with a tough loss to powerhouse Muskegon (11-1), 49-21.

Colin McGovern OL Lincoln-Way West:

Lincoln-Way West (8-4) season came to an abrupt end against Joliet Catholic Academy (9-4), 21-20.

Mike McGlinchey OL Penn Charter:

Penn Charter (5-4) has ended the season.

Doug Randolph and Greer Martini (2014) LB’s Woodberry Forest:

Woodberry Forest (7-3) wrapped up their season crushing Episcopal (3-7), 44-14.

Devin Butler CB Gonzaga:

Gonzaga (8-3) season ended with a first-round loss to DeMatha (9-2), 40-27.
