Greer Martini has been committed to Notre Dame for almost a year and a half now and this past weekend, the 2014 linebacker from Virginia’s Woodberry Forest School had the opportunity to talk about why with some of the Irish’s other prospects during an unofficial visit to South Bend.
“It went well,” Martini said. “It was a great weekend to be up there. Obviously, it was exciting to be up there for that game and for Notre Dame to get a win was awesome.”
Martini was one of nine Irish pledges on campus, the largest assembly of Notre Dame’s 2014 class to date.
“It was good to see all of the guys who are committed with me,” he said. “We got to meet up, talk to each other and the guys who didn’t really know each other grew closer together. Just being around each other and enjoying the game was good for us.”
Martini, who committed to Notre Dame in July of 2012, got the chance to know Irish offensive line commit Quenton Nelson better and also spent a great deal of time with 2014 Illinois inside linebacker prospect Nyles Morgan.
